
Warren Brown is an experienced editor, writer and photographer with professional experience in journalism and marketing.
He graduated from the University of North Texas in May 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and has been published in Community Impact Newspaper, the Dallas Observer, the Fort Worth Weekly, Mayborn Magazine and several smaller publications. His work has been published under the bylines Warren Brown, Matt Brown and Matthew Brown.
While working as a copywriter for HKS, a top design firm, he was a ghostwriter for numerous industry thought leaders, which included ghostwriting a book chapter for a globally recognized stadium architect. Warren's work was published for targeted audiences on five continents, and he also helped manage social media streams, public relations and marketing campaigns.
Most recently, Warren wrote more than 450 stories for Community Impact Newspaper as an editor and senior reporter. During his second month as editor, he oversaw the smooth production of the New Braunfels edition's largest issue to date, with 52 pages printed in the monthly paper. His intrepid reporting also led to record high page views during the first months of the coronavirus pandemic, outpacing many of the company's much larger markets.
